VIBF 2022 - Host Application
Apply to host at the 2022 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival!
VIBF is not accepting applications for live acts from international performers/hosts for the 2022 festival. Due to the uncertainty of international travel at the time of the festival, we are choosing to focus on highlighting Canadian performers in the festival this year.
We recognize that varying degrees of systemic oppression can make submitting to our Festival difficult or inaccessible for some performers. Applicants who feel affected by this may claim $0.00 applications on the honour system, sponsored by the VIBFA.
We will require applicants to confirm that they have been or will be double vaccinated by the beginning of the festival (April 6, 2022). Performers will be required to show proof of vaccination, if accepted to perform.
We now have an extensive Application & Adjudication FAQ! Everything you ever wanted to know and more, this document demystifies our selection process, and is full of useful information that will help make your application the best it can be! Check it out at the bottom of this page:
Applications are open from Monday, November 15th until 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021.
