Dear All,
On behalf of the Johns Hopkins Global Biotechnology Innovation Center and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), I am pleased to invite you to attend the first annual JHU-Korea Biotechnology and Drug Discovery Symposium.
The Johns Hopkins Global Biotechnology Innovation Center was established on May 1st, 2024, as a partnership between Johns Hopkins University and the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) / Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) in South Korea to further global collaboration in biotechnology innovation and commercialization. Through the Johns Hopkins Global Biotechnology Innovation Center, you can apply for a joint R&D research grant between Korean industry and JHU investigators. More information can be found in the press release:

This symposium will take place at the Johns Hopkins University campus on June 28th, 2024. We have confirmed distinguished speakers from both JHU and Korea. Participants from U.S. and Korean industry, academia, and government laboratories are invited to join our inaugural symposium, which will be held in a hybrid format (in-person and online via Zoom). The symposium aims to connect Korean industry and academia with Hopkins investigators to spur future R&D innovation and global partnerships.
