Following the tradition from previous years, this Latino Heritage Month we'll be awarding individuals and organizations in our community who have demonstrated commitment, advocacy, and dedication to advancing the Latino community in Columbus. Esperanza Award
The Esperanza Award is awarded to an individual who has spent their career advocating for our Latino community and their wellbeing. They are someone who has always recognized their roots or raices and has gone above and beyond for their community in creating new opportunities and breaking barriers of entry.

Esperanza del Futuro Award
The Esperanza del Futuro Award is awarded to a young person (under 25) who is making strides and opening new opportunities for the Latino community. Although they are young, they are already going above and beyond in advocating for their community and leading others towards a more just and equitable future for all people of color. They show incredible promise.

Esperanza de la Comunidad Award
The Esperanza de la Comunidad Award is awarded to an organization that promotes the wellbeing of the Latino community and is led by the Latino. This organization not only advocates for our community but provides services and opportunities that ensure the betterment of our community.
