1) Event requests must be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance, to allow sufficient time for the events subcommittee to review.2) All WMU and/or school group lectures, coordinated by the Imam, are exempt from pre-approval.3) Rental fee and refundable deposit will be required upon agreement. The fees and deposits (if any) are following:Renting the KIS Gym area:- For regular sporting activities, the fee is $25 per person/month.- For commercial purpose, the fee is $30 per hour.- For Social Events, the fee is $150 for first 4 hours ($15/hour thereafter) and the deposit is $200.Renting the KIS Prayer Hall:- For Social Events, the fee is $250 for first 4 hours ($25/hour thereafter) and the deposit is $200. Note: No shoes are allowed in this hall.Renting the KIC Social Hall:
- There is no renting fee associated to KIC Social Hall during the normal operating hours of KIC. Note: No shoes are allowed in this hall.
4) Upon completion of the event, the requester shall be responsible for cleaning associated area(s) in which the event will take place (Musallah, gymnasium, kitchen), including carpets, furniture, and restrooms. Once cleaned to its’ original standard, the deposit shall be returned.
5) Requester will assume complete financial responsibility for damages incurred to premises during the event.
6) No music or musical instruments are allowed at any premises.
7) No birthday parties are allowed at any premises.
8) No shoes are allowed in any of the prayer halls at KIC and KIS.
9) No event shall exceed four hours in length, unless pre-approved by the events subcommittee.
10) No filming of any event shall be allowed, unless pre-approved by the events
subcommittee*.
