This program is available to property owners in the Boise and Eliot neighborhoods who need financial assistance in removing and replacing their dead or dying street trees.
In 2016, Albina ReLeaf assisted eight homeowners in the removal and replacing of hazardous trees. With your help, we plan to double that this year!
As part of this program, volunteers coordinate the removal of your street tree and handle all of the permitting (for free), work with Friends of Trees to find a suitable replacement (for free), and plant your new replacement tree (all for free!).
All you have to do is sign up below. The deadline is December 14th, 2016.
Once you sign up, you will get the opportunity to select a replacement tree with Friends of Trees. Your hazardous tree will be removed by February 7th, 2017, and Friends of Trees will plant your new tree during their neighborhood planting on February 18th, 2017.
