Join us for another Culture Blocks series!!

Dive into the studies of various African Diasporic dances.

From these experiences, participants will gain:
• A deeper connection to African diasporic cultural traditions through movement
• Representation of dance and cultural practices rooted in family and community lineages
• A sense of community fellowship and wellness

We will explore African Brazilian dances with the possibility of performing the choreography at the 2026 LAVAGEM in April.

Open to pre-teens and adults. All levels welcome!

Council, a division of the Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.
