Geek.Kon, LLCP.O. Box 5191Madison, WI, 53705Attn: Artist Relations
The deadline to apply is midnight, April 31, 2017 at midnight. We will contact you with further information in the event that you are selected to be an artist for Geek.Kon 2017.
Artists must sell their original creations or copies of their original creations. Products based on licensed works (including licensed plans or patterns) must have the approval of the license holder.
Bootlegged materials are STRICTLY forbidden. There will be both staff and attendees trained to spot bootlegged materials at the event. Spot checks for bootlegged materials WILL NOT be announced.
Each artist will be assigned one or more tables. All of your belongings must be on or under the table or behind it between the table and the wall or "pipe and drape." In addition, please do not move the table without permission from artist relations staff or the convention chair.
Everyone attending the event must conform to the rules of the convention. Please emphasize this to your staff/helpers and help us keep this event one that both attendees and artists would choose to come back to by notifying staff if anyone is violating our rules.
Please ask for a photo ID when selling any adult materials and merchandise them in such a way that minors are unlikely to come across them without reasonable effort. Quite of a few attendees are children with their parents so we try to keep the atmosphere family friendly in areas not restricted to 18+.
This application must be completed fully and accurately to be considered for a spot in artist alley. Incomplete or inaccurate information will not be considered and if discovered may be grounds for banning from future Geek.Kon events.
These rules may be added to or modified at any time by the artist relations staff or convention chair. Furthermore, exceptions to these rules may be granted only by artist relations staff or the convention chair.
