The School Administrators of Montana will be launching a new program in the 26-27 school year - the Principal PLC. The purpose of this virtual program is to provide support and collaboration for school principals and assistant principals across Montana. The design will be modeled after a "professional learning community," where school leaders can connect with others in similar positions. Time will be spent discussing problems of practice and exploring real-time solutions that lead to successful resolutions. Group size will be no more than 10, with groups formed around role-alike positions (Elem, MS, HS, Asst Principals, New Principals, etc...). An experienced group facilitator will lead discussions and help with problem solving. It is intended that the PLC groups will meet one time each month, virtually.

The goal of the program? To provide support for school leaders through active collaboration with colleagues in similar roles. This program is co-sponsored by the Elementary, Middle School and High School Principal Associations of Montana.
