Cooking with the Cap Times: Joe Sasto

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, chef Joe Sasto will give a live cooking demonstration at Furniture & Appliancemart, 2404 W. Beltline Hwy in Madison.

Attendees may sample three dishes: fonduta (like Italian nacho cheese) with pasta chips; chicken parmesan-stuffed ravioli; and brown butter chocolate chip cookies, all from Sasto’s new cookbook, "Breaking the Rules: A Fresh Take on Italian Classics."

There will be tequila sampling from Nosotros tequila, and a wine pairing to go with Sasto’s dishes provided by Leopold’s Books Bar Caffé. Leopold’s will offer books for presale, as well as purchase (and signing) onsite.

This event is free to attend, but open to Cap Times members at the King Street level ($100/year) or higher only. Learn more about membership here.
