Summer Social Justice Camp 2024 Application

Who: for middle and high school students who live in Chittenden County

When: 12-4pm on July 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 and Aug. 1

Where: Outright Vermont (241 N. Winooski Ave.) in Burlington

What: Participants will choose topics of what they’d like to learn about and discuss. We’ll spend each day on a different topic. Examples of previous topics are LGBTQIA+ representation in media, disability rights, and gun violence. Attendees of the camp not only learn and discuss these issues; they also build skills to bring about change. We’ll also play games, make art, share food, learn about each other through storytelling, and have fun!

Why: We want to provide a space for youth to learn and identify ways they want to make their school and community better.

*The camp is free to attend. After the camp is over, each participants will receive a check with a small stipend for each day they came to camp.

Apply by June 1st!

We also have a BIPOC Overnight Camp Aug. 18-22. Registration will close June 1st.
