Mindfulness Meditation for Children/Teens (5-18)
Hello and thank you for taking the time to complete this 1 minute survey!
I’m looking for like-minded families who would be open to sharing feedback and participating in a pilot program. My goal is to develop programming that will help children be more focused, alleviate worry, manage emotions, and support their wellbeing. I want to support families during this challenging time.
A little about me: I have worked with children of all ages for the last two decades in creative writing, academic tutoring, mentorship and person statement coaching. I have completed training in Mindfulness Meditation for Children with best-selling author and therapist Eline Snel through the International Academy for Mindful Teaching. I have also been accepted into The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield through The Awareness Training Institute and the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California at Berkeley.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to serving you and our community!

PILOT INTEREST: If you are interested in participating in a beta pilot program, are you able to commit to and support weekly 1 hour sessions for 8 weeks (for 4-12 year olds) or 10 weeks (for 13-18 year olds) either virtual or in-person (honoring social distancing, with masks and hand sanitizer)?
Yes, I would feel comfortable doing virtual sessions at this time
Yes, I would feel comfortable with in-person socially distanced practice at my own home backyard (best for learning pods or groups of friends/family members)
Yes, in-person social distanced at a public meeting area such as a park or beach
Not at this time
If you’re unable to commit to a pilot but are interested in other forms of flexible virtual mindfulness meditation, what timeframe/commitment works best for you? (I.e. guided online course with 2-4 Zoom Group check-ins per month). My goal is to make this as accessible and accommodating to as many families as possible.
Can I please follow up with you with any questions or to confirm details of your interest in a pilot program?
