Read the below public narrative example. Then answer the below questions based on this story.
I grew up hearing stories from my family about the importance of taking care of others and to stand up for what I thought was right. I was also shy and a little quiet most of the time.

When I was older I saw there was a group organizing a rally for criminal justice reform. I had never gone to a rally before and didn't know anyone there so decided to head home.

Later that night I was sitting on my couch and I saw the rally on the local news. I saw so many passionate people of all ages and backgrounds and I thought back to what my parents had taught me growing up. I knew I couldn't just sit on the couch while there was work to be done to support my community.

I decided to look up the group that organized the rally and I found their website online. I sent them an email and asked how I could get involved. The next day they reached out to me and I started to volunteer.

It's been a few years now, but now I have organized a few rallies, coordinated a few volunteer teams, and met with legislators to push the cause forward. I've found a great community of dedicated people where I feel I can make a difference.
