As a school we are focused on how we can do things better, and are always looking at ways we can provide the best learning opportunities for our tamariki. An important part of this is asking you, our community for your opinion. The Board of Trustees will use your feedback to help them plan for next year.


We want to identify the good things we are doing.  As well, we want to introduce new ideas that will improve our school.

As a family member I feel comfortable and welcomed into the school.
Welcome Bay School provides a safe and secure environment for children.
There are opportunities for parents to be involved.
I am happy with the way the Board of Trustees keeps me informed.
The school provides leadership opportunities for children eg- sports leaders, ambassadors, house leaders, travel smart ambassadors and within hub leadership roles
The school encourages children to have a high standard of behaviour.
 I believe that behaviour management is fair and appropriate.

The school has helped my child to develop their confidence.
