Thank you for your interest in joining The Sustainable Dye Chemistry Laboratory. Our Laboratory is housed in the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State University and is led by Dr. Tova N. Williams. We focus on the design and development of environmentally benign dyes and coloration methods.

Graduate student applicants interested in joining the Laboratory will likely gain experience in a variety of fields including textile chemistry, organic synthesis, bioengineering/biosynthesis, and cheminformatics/computer modeling and obtain a degree in either textile chemistry (M.S.), textile engineering (M.S.), and/or fiber and polymer science (Ph.D.), enabling them to pursue diverse careers.
