Interested in bridging Mesa College student's academic learning with real-world experiences? Want to support student's exploration of career opportunities, interaction with industry, and growth of 21st century skills?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a partner with San Diego Mesa College's Work-Based Learning program! Our hope is that through WBL services, Mesa College is able to better prepare students for employment, build a more highly-skilled workforce, and strengthen our economy. Career events for students consist of varying levels of employer engagement from community businesses, such as informational interviews, workplace tours, classroom projects, job shadows, industry speakers, internships, etc. As a WBL partner, you’ll have an opportunity to help students explore career options and teach them the necessary skills needed to be successful in today's labor market.
Complete the Employer or Community Partner request below to enhance student's educational experience with work-based learning activities inside and outside the classroom! After your request, Mesa's Work-Based Learning Coordinators will be in touch with you to discuss logistics, connect you with faculty/campus departments, and support you in preparing Mesa's students to be career ready!
