Girl Scout Troop 5823 is excited to announce our Spring Campout in Chincoteague & Assateague this year!  We have reservations at the KOA in Chincoteague - more information about the campground can be found here: https://koa.com/campgrounds/chincoteague/.  Chincoteague is about a 3-hr drive from the DC area.  

Here are the details:

WHEN:
     Memorial Day Weekend (Friday 5/24 or Saturday 5/25 through Monday 5/27)

WHERE:
     KOA Campground on Chincoteague Island (https://koa.com/campgrounds/chincoteague/)

ACTIVITES:  
     Captain Barry's Backbay Cruise (https://captainbarry.net/) (SATURDAY - IN SHIFTS)
     KOA Campground  - https://koa.com/campgrounds/chincoteague/activities/
     Assateague Island - https://www.nps.gov/asis/planyourvisit/things2do.htm (SUNDAY - ALL DAY)

COST:
     $125 per attendee (for Girl Scouts(s) who worked at least 2 booths during cookie season,
     the $125 is a refundable deposit returned if your Girl Scout attends the campout)

Please note that we've always managed to provide transportation & gear for our Girl Scouts when needed so please let us know below what you might need or be able to provide.

Due to the distance from the DC area and the nature of the activities, we require that all Daisies participating be accompanied by a parent during the entire trip.
