beyond INTERNSHIP
beyond INTERNSHIP: Research, Publication & Future Career

This program is specifically focused on Intern Medical Doctors who wish to experience the medical world beyond their comfort zone.

beyond INTERNSHIP will provide insight into academic medicine that deals with research and publication, its importance and conducting research and publishing in a scientific way. Research in not just collecting data or not just writing up something and submitting to a journal for possible publication. It is much more than that...

The future of medicine depends on research and publication leading to evidence-based medicine to the clinicians and improved health in the country.

This program will also highlight the life events that will most likely happen after you complete your internship and mainly covers
1. Future Career Perspectives & the Life after Internship
2. How to Write a Case Report?
3. How to Do a Research Scientifically?
4. How to conduct a simple retrospective Study in a Hospital?
5. How to Prepare Article (Case Report, Research Article) for JNMA?

During the early stage of medical career, we do not know much about career perspective in working for the government (Ministry of Health, Nepal Army, Nepal Police), Private (Medical College, Hospital, NGOs), WHO and health-related organisations.

Besides, if you ever wanted to know;

- what is the difference between Medical Journal, NewsPaper and Magazines?
- when to plan for a family life?
- Where to do specialisation?
- Which speciality has more scope and opportunities?
- When can I have name and fame in my profession?
- As a new doctor, what are my social responsibilities?
