Crave Lexington 2021 is celebrating its eighth year! Thanks to participating folks like you this festival is such a great one in Kentucky and the region.

This is the official food vending application for NEW VENDORS.

*In anticipation of hosting a socially distanced version of Crave, we are tentatively making plans in preparation. As we get closer to August, a better determination can be made about Covid-19 safety concerns at that time.

WHAT IS CRAVE food + music festival?
Crave is a food and music festival celebrating the diversity of the cuisine and the agricultural bounty of our region. “Crave” will host 40 + local vendors serving hundreds of menu items. Crave will feature chefs, local restaurants, food trucks, cooking demonstrations on our food performance stage and lots more.

Saturday, August 14: 12pm to 11pm
Sunday, August 15: 12pm to 7pm

Masterson Station Fairgrounds - located at 3051 Leestown Rd. Lexington, KY 40511.
Expected Attendance: 15,000 - 20,000 over two days.

Showcase Space (only 12 total available)

Showcase Space XL (only 12 total available)
Your branded tent (provided by vendor) or 12 x 12, unbranded tent and 2 tables set up by Crave in a prime location or 12 x 12.
$700 for both days, includes up to two pieces of electrical equipment and/ or less than 20 AMPS

Space for your set up (up to 26' trucks/trailers)
$300 for both days, includes electric

All vendors will have the ability to set up an additional tent, equivalent to your purchased booth space to provide extra shade, storage and space with placement to be approved by Crave.

*Vendors are solely responsible for decor, display, banners, signage for booths and chairs for sitting.

Crave sells all food and beverage tickets at Crave. Festival goers purchase Crave Tickets with a value of $1 or $5 each. Menu items will be offered at $2, $3 & $5 price points. Vendors are reimbursed for all items sold at $0.75 cents per dollar. Vendors should be mindful of costing out their items in order to maximize sales. For example, the $2 items should cost about .70 to .80 cents per piece, $3 item for $1.75 to 2.00, etc. In previous years, most of our vendors MADE PROFIT after expenses. Being careful about your costs can make this a profitable event both in sales and exposure. DUE TO COVID, WE MAY HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE WAY FOR PATRONS TO PAY. ONCE ACCEPTED TO VEND, WE WILL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE WITH ALL CHANGES.

Crave vendors are NOT allowed to sell any beverages and will be asked to leave without refund if not compliant.

Vendors are more than welcome to put tip jars out for staff as long as it isn't obnoxious. Crave is a fun weekend and everyone should feel rewarded outside of the great pay you all offer.

Restaurant and mobile food unit selection will be carefully evaluated in regard to menu items. The Crave management team has full discretion to accept or reject any menu item proposed by an applicant.

Applicants must provide festival goers with a choice of at least three (3) total menu items, priced at the $2, $3 & $5 values.  Each menu must have at least one of the options at each of the price points. After meeting the 2/3/5 requirement, any additional items can be offered at any reasonable price point above $5 (up to six total items).

Menu items must be submitted with this application, however, vendors are not held to those items as long as they are consistent in representing Crave's core menu values.

Vendors must watch Crave-produced information and instructional videos and sign off that they have been viewed. One on one meetings with director are always encouraged, if needed.
