Apply to Become an EdSurge Independent Fellow!
APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 28, 2018 (Friday) 11:59PM EST

Thank you very much for your interest in applying to EdSurge Independent Fellowship! The program is designed to allow students to:
a) Join a community deeply passionate about improving education
b) Meet leading education, leaders and entrepreneurs
c) Share your perspective with the readers of EdSurge Independent and beyond

For more details about the programme as well as FAQs, please visit: https://www.edsurge.com/independent

Here're some highlights:
1. You will be asked to write 3 Medium articles over the course of the 10-12 week cohort. These articles will be published at https://edsurgeindependent.com/ . We will have a variety of resources to get you started and thinking about what to write.
2. We have an 1.5hr weekly call on topics of your interest. We will bring in speakers to share their perspective/experience on the topic, as well as conduct internal discussions (each fellow will need to lead the discussion for at least one session).
3. We will facilitate conversations and relationship building not only between you and your fellow cohort member, but also alumni of the program and practitioners in the education field.

Please note that you must be over 17 to participate. There is no hard upper age limit, but we expect most cohort members to be between 18 and 25. If you are over 25, please justify your definition of 'student' in the 'Why do you want to join EdSurge Independent?' question. We will not discriminate based on age.
