The Minimum Economic Recovery Standards (MERS) Training | in Arabic
The Minimum Economic Recovery Standards (MERS) are the internationally recognized consensus on best practices for building economic resilience for crisis-affected communities. SEEP developed and refined MERS over a ten-year process with input from hundreds of organizations and practitioners. Launched in 2017 with funding from USAID's Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, SEEP's Mainstreaming MERS initiative is designed to increase awareness, sustained learning, and wide sclae update of the Minimum Economic Recovery Standards by organizations working in disaster response and economic recovery.
This same training will be conducted on four separate occasions in 2021 and 2022. Participants should choose one of the following sessions when registering:
- 31 October to 2 November, 2021: registration for the first session is now closed as the maximum capacity for this training has been reached.
- 20 - 22 February, 2022
- 19 - 21 June, 2022
- 18 - 20 September, 2022

Fees: free of charge
*This training is free of charge. However, participants are required to attend all sessions of the training, and cameras must remain "on" during all sessions. Sessions will be recorded.
