Ohio City Farm Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Ohio City Farm (OCF)! The OCF is operated by the Refugee Response, a nonprofit organization with the mission to empower refugees to become self-sufficient and contributing members of their new communities. Without people like you, the farm would not exist. Thank you!
Volunteers can expect to do farm tasks including harvesting, planting, seeding, weeding, washing and packing produce, and more. It is physically challenging work, and volunteers must be able stand for 5+ hours, work in varied weather conditions, and lift and carry up to 40lb. The Ohio City Farm is a friendly, rewarding work environment with plenty of camaraderie and hard work!
You must be 18 or older to volunteer. We require a commitment of 1-2 workdays per week for a minimum of two months between April - October 2018.
