All National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) Members, Annual Conference attendees, and other staff of state housing agencies are welcome to apply to attend this workshop. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the workshop has been filled. CESA will notify you about whether you have been accepted to attend after it has reviewed your application.
Travel reimbursement is available to cover airfare and one night at the Hyatt Regency Denver for those selected to attend. If you will be seeking travel and hotel reimbursement, please indicate that on this form.
This workshop will examine the challenges providers face in deploying solar for public and affordable housing and will highlight strategies and ideas for state housing agencies and other public agencies to overcome those challenges. Participants will engage with leading experts from across the country in discussions on solar technology and markets, how solar can benefit affordable housing providers and tenants, solar project financing strategies, and how adding battery storage to solar projects can reduce lifecycle costs and provide resiliency benefits. Workshop presenters will include:

The Sustainable Solar Education Project is managed by CESA and is funded through the U.S. Department of Energy SunShot Initiative’s Solar Training and Education for Professionals program.
