Family and Culture Dialogue
WOPAC - Alumni Dialogue Initiative presents the first of its summer events: Family and Culture.

How does your family’s cultural background shape your experiences in Palo Alto and the surrounding communities?
How can we acknowledge and respect cultural diversity within and outside our families?

Join us for a community dialogue to explore the relationship between family and culture. A diverse panel of alumni, parents, and community members will talk about how their cultural identities have shaped their experiences within and outside of their families. The panel will be followed by small group dialogues and story-telling, in which we will listen and learn from each other’s experiences. We hope this experience will foster cultural understanding and encourage open communication within our homes and our communities.

Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you are not directly affiliated with Palo Alto.
Please try to arrive on time!
Refreshments will be provided.

Time: Sunday, July 17; 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Location: Mitchell Park Community Center - Palo Alto Room
