Hope House Montgomery: Internship Application
Hope House Montgomery is a nonprofit organization (501(c)3 that works with the youth of our neighborhood offering events, after-school programs, and activities.  

We hope to encourage kids to find a path towards living out a Christ-like life (even if we don't talk about it specifically) in their community in Montgomery.

Hope House Montgomery isn't just a place, a building, a neighborhood, a street, or even a ministry. It's recognizing that it's God's Love in us: A real, crazy love that we seek to unleash in ourselves and others.  We believe in walking together, talking together, playing together, and praying together.

At Hope House we are committed to Jesus, our neighborhood, our partner churches and local churches, and one another. We serve and live imperfectly and vulnerably in committed Christian community.

FULL-TIME INTERNSHIP:
Single female (right now we are looking for one female)
Goals: Growth in discipleship, servanthood, living in community, and urban ministry
5 - 10 month commitment (Aug to Dec and possible May) - possibly extend up to two years
$1,250 stipend for the semester, plus free housing, utilities, Laundry facilities in main house, and 2-3 meals together a week.

Each year Hope House Montgomery seeks young persons interested in practicing the art of being a good neighbor through the Internship Program. The Internship Program at Hope House Montgomery (HHM) is an intentional opportunity to grow in areas of discipleship, servanthood, hospitality and urban ministry. Following the lead of Jesus, we will move together in a neighborhood setting to know and show his love. At Hope House, we live in community, often opening our doors to children, teens, and adults.
