Dundee Soup – Idea Submission
Do you have an idea that could positively impact social and climate issues for Dundee's communities? 

A SOUP is a great way to gain funds, build community support and get connections to local resources that can help you carry out your project. Applying for Dundee SOUP is easy, fill out the questions below!

This year the Changemakers approach is on communities of focus in Dundee. 

We begin on 23 July 6-8pm at Canvas on Ure Street (71 Brewing's new taproom) with a Central Dundee SOUP covering the following areas:
  • Maryfield (City Centre, Stobswell, Baxter Park, Woodside, Blackscroft, Springhill) and 
  • Coldside (Dudhope, Hilltown, Law, The Glens, Coldside, Fairmuir).
Some things to consider for your submission:
  1. Does your project or idea cover one of these geographical communities in Dundee?
  2. How does your project or idea impact social and climate action?
  3. Does it collaborate or connect and share resources or ideas?
  4. Is it inclusive?
The deadline for submitting your idea via the form below is Tuesday 15 July at midnight. Presenters will be selected and notified by Thursday 17 July.  

Three more SOUPs are to come within our funding year, featuring West, East and North Dundee!

What do we expect in your proposal?
♦ Your proposal doesn’t need to be long. Keep it short and to the point!
♦ You need to be local to Dundee to submit an idea and your project should benefit the Central Dundee community of focus in some way.
♦ A maximum of 5 submissions are chosen to share at the SOUP.
♦ Details about your project (strictly no personal details) may be used in marketing of the event. 
♦ We DO NOT use technology to present (Canva, PowerPoint or anything requiring a projector)

If your pitch is successful you'll be asked to spend 10 minutes talking to the audience about your idea on the night. We will send you more information about what to expect if your idea is taken forward.
