The Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Caucus of UUSF, in tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr., present:
Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America
Saturday, January 18, 10:00am
"Must-see, "powerful," and "compelling" are the words to describe the documentary Who We Are: A Chronicle Of Racism In America, centered on a lecture by ACLU Legal Director Jeffery Robinson and directed by documentarian sisters Emily and Sara Kunsten. Through interweaving lectures, personal anecdotes, interviews, and revelations, the film explores the enduring legacy of White Supremacy in America from 1619 to present and our collective responsibility to overcome it. This film deserves the attention of anyone who has a heart and a head regardless of color.
Following the screening, there will be a lunch with a discussion led by Milton Reynolds. Reynolds is an Equity and Inclusion Consltant, formerly with Facing history and Ourselves.
This event is sponsored by the UUSF BIPOC Caucus but open to all.
