LIS Draft Plan for the Program Presentation: Constituent Feedback and Input Form

Dear CUA LIS community members and other interested parties,

Thank you for reviewing The Catholic University of America's (CUA) Department of Library and Information Science (LIS) draft Plan for the Program Presentation. This Plan outlines the process we will follow as we prepare for our accreditation review and develop our final Program Presentation for submission to the American Library Association's Committee on Accreditation in 2016.

The Plan is divided into two main sections:

1) Preparation Process for LIS's Reaccreditation Review: This includes our committee structure, constituent communication, timeline, etc.

2) Sources of Evidence Lists: These detailed lists for each of the six standards will be used to evaluate and demonstrate our compliance with the ALA Accreditation Standards.

Please provide your feedback by Sunday, March 22, 2015.

We will review all your comments as we prepare the final Plan for the Program Presentation for submission on April 5, 2015.

On behalf of the CUA LIS Department and its constituents, thank you for your participation in this important process.

Sincerely,
Bill Kules, Ph.D.
