Black Arts Showcase: Opening Ceremony Performer Sign-Up
Calling all Singers, Painters, Drawers, Spoken Word Performers, Instrumental Soloists, Stand up Comics, Rappers, and anyone else you can think of! We are here to embrace our gifts and share them with each other. So mark your calendars down for Saturday, FEBRUARY 2nd 7-9pm in Collis Commonground as we showcase the talents nested in the black community!
Black Legacy Month at Dartmouth College takes place in February and focuses on thinking about our history in a lens that links the past with the unlimited potential of our futures. By illuminating the future possibilities of blackness at Dartmouth and the world at large we can celebrate ourselves and our capacity to make an impact. The purpose of Black Legacy Month is to recognize the Black Experience in the U.S. and Dartmouth College, explore topical issues in the black community while giving context to a vision of what the black future could be, and engage the Dartmouth Community in an appreciation for all that we have contributed to this campus and the world at large.
