The Signal Anti-Resume Project
The Signal team is working on a reflection project titled the “Anti-Resume” project. Our goal is to highlight both failures/accomplishments of Penn alumni that wouldn’t normally show up on a resume, and to promote the message that we are more than our resume/GPA/internship/job. We want to encourage people to learn from their failures and celebrate the things about themselves that aren’t linked to traditional measures of success.

Here is an example of the type of material we are trying to create: We designed it with a LinkedIn profile in mind with categories highlighting undervalued or overlooked aspects of Penn culture. Please fill out at least 8 categories and/or add categories of your own!

Anonymous anti-resumes are welcome - if you wish to remain anonymous, please put "Anonymous" in the "Name" field.

If you would like to share your email/LinkedIn/profile/website/any other contact information with students, please include that here as well. Also, we would prefer if you write this bio referring to yourself in the 3rd person! Thanks!

Please fill out a MINIMUM of 8 categories - we encourage you to fill out as many as you can so that we can create a fuller picture of your experiences. For each category, you can put as few or as many items as you wish. We have also included a section at the bottom for you to come up with your own categories.
If you are listing activities, please use semicolons to delimit your responses. This will help us generate your resumes faster. I.E if you're listing companies you were rejected by: follow the format "Google; Apple; Microsoft" *
