Buckthorn has been identified as an invasive plant by the State of Illinois, but most private property owners don’t realize its harmful effects on surrounding trees, wildlife, and landscapes.

This FREE workshop covers mitigation strategies and discusses screening alternatives and how to talk to clients about woody invasive plants on their property. Attendees will better understand why invasive woody plants such as buckthorn need to be removed, how to establish a plan for invasives eradication, and how to use talk to clients and neighbors about this threat.
