ILS Additional Support Book Request
As an Additional Support user, you can send a request to us in advance by using the online ‘Item Request’ form. You may request a maximum of 5 items per week.

We will email you with confirmation that your books are ready to collect from the Reservation shelves and will be shelved under your student ID number.

Journal articles need to be collected from the Service Desk on the Ground floor.

Items must be collected within 7 days of receiving your notification email.

If you have difficulty locating or collecting items from The Library shelves, staff can do this for you - if given advance notice with details of the materials you require.
1. You may request 5 items in total per week. This can be a combination of books and printed journal articles.
2. All requests must be collected within seven days from the date we email you.
3. For books and audio-visual material, please check the full details of the item on the Library Catalogue as some items can only be used in The Library. If the item does not appear on the Catalogue, we will not be able to obtain it for you.
4. For journal articles, please check the Library Online Web site, as many articles are available via the Web which can be downloaded or printed.
