Struggling to pay rent during Covid-19? Tell us and Join us!
While the central government and city council have halted evictions they are doing nothing to help those that make can't their rent. It will be worse when the crisis is over; people who have been out of work for months won't be able to afford to paying months of back rent. Our government has called on tenants and landlords to work together, but we can’t count on every landlord and agent being kind and understanding.
The government has offered mortgage holidays to the landlords but only greater debt to renters.
You need to make your voice heard now. Renters need to stick together and get organised. Only through your active participation can we all be safely housed.
