Pocket Diary Book Club was conceived on 2nd November 2022 at Akshat Drama Group.

We researched and saw a lot of book of the month clubs. But we did not want that. We wanted new, we wanted different, we wanted many books and many stories.

We created book club editions. Here, we read aloud random passages, dramatize, have fun and add a light dose of seriousness, to fill the awkward silences.

What else? T-shirts & Bookmarks, Special Merchandise, Literature Retreats, Theme Nights etc etc etc etc...etc!

Our inspiration: The meetings of ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society’ or ‘Little Women’s Pickwick Club’

We have established libraries in rural areas and old age homes. We house a small library of 500+ books to read from.
