MPT Application 2018-2019

We are seeking youth who are leaders and would like the opportunity to serve the wider church in this unique way. MPT offers young people an experience in leadership and an opportunity to give and share in ways not often available to youth.

The team meets three times between April and November to plan the Midwinter Youth Conferences, and then oversees those conferences for middle school and senior high youth during January.

Who may apply: Current high school sophomores and juniors. Applicants must be an active member in a PC (USA) or Cumberland Presbyterian Church congregation in Mission Presbytery as well as their home church youth group. MPT members must commit to attending three planning meetings in 2018: on April 6-7 at John Knox Ranch (group-building), August 10-11 (theme selection meeting), and November 16-17 (detailed planning). If more than one meeting is missed, that MPT will be asked to step down from the planning team.

All MPT members are responsible for making travel arrangements to and from meetings.

Please fill out the following questions and submit the form.

For your application to be complete, you also need to email a photograph of yourself to Caitlin Supcoff at

You also need to ask your pastor, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, or another appropriate adult to complete a reference form for you. (Relatives may not serve as references.) References are also due on March 8th. Please send the link to your reference at least a week before the deadline. Send them this link:

Current MPT members who are juniors must reapply to serve another term.
