Blackfalds Weekly Summer Market
We're so excited to present our Weekly Summer Market running Thursdays, May 16th to August 29th, from 4-7:30 pm. 🌞🌳 This is an outdoor market with limited indoor options (only from July 18-Aug 29th). It is located in the Blackfalds Multi-Plex (arena) parking lot.


-Once the application is received and the review is completed, we will send out an approval email notifying your acceptance and requesting payment.
-We will be capping MLM vendors.
-Once you have received the approval notification, you will have 48 hours to submit payment to secure your spot.
-Payment can be made via email money transfer (preferred) or cash.
-Any cash payments must be arranged to be dropped off with one of the organizers.
-At this time, we do not accept cheques or credit card.


-NO refunds will be issued after April 15, 2019.
-This is a come rain or shine event, no refunds will be offered if a vendor does not show up.
-Once the indoor space is available (July 18) we can move vendors inside during unfavourable weather.
-If you are unable to attend a prepaid week, you are required to notify us and it will be filled as we see fit.


-The market will be held at the Multi-Plex in Blackfalds, located at 5302 Broadway Ave and will run from 4:00PM to 7:30PM on Thursdays May 16th to August 29th.
-ATM and washrooms will be located inside the Multi-Plex and available during market hours.
-Setup is available from 2:00PM to 3:45PM.
-Please check in with the organizer booth when you arrive to receive your spot information.
-All vendors must be onsite by 3:15PM, if not arrived by then and no contact is made with us, we will be shifting vendors or filling the spots.
-All vendors must be set up by 3:45PM.
-You are only permitted to sell the products approved on your vendor application. If you are changing your company or adding non related items, additional approval is required.
-Food vendors will be required to submit copies of permits and licensing. Vendors selling any type of food products must meet all Food Safety guidelines as outlined by Alberta Health Services for a Public Market, including being stored & produced in an AHS approved facility (no home kitchens). -Vendors must remain in their allotted space, with all displays, products and racks.
-Take down is not permitted until 7:30PM, early pack up can result in banishment from future shows and no refunds will be issued.
-The Blackfalds Market is not liable for losses, thefts, fires, water/wind damages, nor are we responsible for assuming risk of vendors property or materials. Vendors are expected to protect themselves through their own insurances.
-Aggression or inappropriate behavior towards any organizer, fellow vendors or customers will result in immediate removal and banishment from all future events and vendor fees will be forfeited.
-Vendors must supply their own tents, tables and chairs.
-You MUST weigh down your tent, if you do not have sufficient weights (min 25lbs per leg) you could be asked to take down your tent.
-Vendors are recommended to operate their booth from behind their vehicle.
-Spots are minimum 10x10 plus space to park your vehicle behind your tent. It is important that you tell us the approximate length and or make and model of your vehicle so we can place you accordingly.
-----------INDOOR VENDORS:
-Vendors must supply their own tables and chairs.
-Spots are minimum 8 feet wide * 7 feet deep


-Social media platforms are an incredible method for advertising; it's a way to spread the word fast and to a lot of people. We will have a main Facebook event for all the weeks and will provide you with promotional posters, blurbs and do expect that be shared on your business social media pages.
-There will be paid posts on social media, as well as radio, posters, and signs.
-We may also advertise via "market money" giveaways. This is a Facebook event exclusive option. If you receive any market money, treat it as cash and we will reimburse you at the end of the market. Encourage the customer to spend it all and do not offer change back as we want to keep the money within the market spent with the vendors.
