Premier's Reading Challenge - 2019
The NSW Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) is an initiative that challenges children to read good quality literature for pleasure. Years K-2 need to read (or have read to them), 30 books whilst Years 3-6 have 20 books to read over a 6 month period. The PRC starts on March 4th and finishes on August 30th this year.

The Holy Cross Library will be set up so that the PRC books for the different age groups are easily accessible for our students. Time will also be spent in Library lessons explaining the challenge and showing students where to find the books that they need to read and how to add these online. Further instructions will be sent with your child's username and password but you can read more at: https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/home.html

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you,
Amy Field (Teacher Librarian)
