Consultation Admissions Policy and Arrangements 2020-2021
The Cavendish School is an All-Through School (age 2-16). This means that the pupils attending in Year 6 within the Primary Phase have an automatic entitlement to progress up to Year 7 of the Secondary Phase.

The Admissions Authority therefore need to confirm the change of PAN to show the number of external places that will be available for children applying for Year 7 places:-

· 2020-2021 there will be a reduction of 60 places as we have 2 x classes of 30 Year 6 pupils progressing up. Therefore, 120 places will be available so as not to exceed the maximum pupil capacity of 180 pupils in Year 7.
· 2021-2022 there will be a reduction of 30 places as we have 1 x class of 30 Year 6 pupils progressing up. Therefore, 150 places will be available so as not to exceed the maximum pupil capacity of 180 pupils in Year 7.
· 2022-2023 there will be a reduction of 60 places as we have 2 x classes of 30 Year 6 pupils progressing up. Therefore, 120 places will be available so as not to exceed the maximum pupil capacity of 180 pupils in Year 7.
