Application for VOW Delegation to CSW68
Hello applicants!

Please fill out all of the fields below to have your application considered for the sixty-eighth session of the Commission on the Status of Women taking place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from the 11th-17th of March 2024. Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are invited to attend.

The key themes of this coming conference will be:

  • Priority theme: Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective
  • Review theme: Social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls (agreed conclusions of the sixty-third session)

In addition to completing VOW's application form below, please visit: https://indico.un.org/event/1007954/ 
for the Indico registration link and relevant instructions to complete an application with UN Women, which will also be reviewed by VOW. This is an important step in the process of being considered as a VOW delegate to the CSW68.

If you are selected to go with the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace the cost is $50 and applicants are responsible for costs associated with travel, food, accommodation and incidentals. There is no UN registration fee. 

With the Canadian Voice of Women for Peace you will also have the opportunity to attend NGO hosted workshops, private briefings with select NGOs such as Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom , as well as an exchange of views with the Mission of Canada to the UN.
