Bring the UM Museum to your classroom today!
The University of Mississippi Museum is proud to offer a free Traveling Trunk program that brings the art, history, and culture of the museum to your classroom or organization.
With our new virtual option, teachers and students can experience our Traveling Trunks from anywhere! We will prepare teachers for the virtual presentation by sending a list of necessary supplies and the corresponding trunk lesson plan. Each trunk provides lessons that meet current grade-specific standards, educational objects or images, and artistic materials to enrich classroom studies. Our presenter will virtually visit your classroom via Zoom. Students will have a blast viewing images, artifacts, and virtually interacting with the presenter! Work with the Curator of Education to design a virtual experience to best fit your needs!
