This Sunday we will be continuing our series on the Bible and Israel. We are going to focus on what it means to bless (and not curse) Abraham and his descendants (Israel) from Genesis 12:3. We are going to be talking about the New Covenant vs. the Old Covenant. We will talk about how the greatest way to bless someone, whether Jew or Gentile, is to help them know God through Jesus. Songs about blessing, and the great blessing of knowing God through Jesus would work, as would the themes of not being saved by our own works/goodness, and the need for the grace of God.
