Haverford Township Parks and Recreation Environmental Education School Field Trips Form
We would like to host your school group during the school year at the Haverford Reserve! Haverford Reserve has 124 acres of open space, two first-order streams, four water retension basins, and a native grass meadow. We offer 1.5 hours of educational time tailored towards the STEAM requirements in addition to free time at Freedom Playground. We have curriculums for students in grades K-6 in topics ranging from water to animals to trees.

Our agenda includes 60 or 90 minutes of environmental education followed by 60 minutes of picnic table space under our pavilion at Freedom Playground. Trips include activities and games related to the topic of your choosing, hands-on experiences, and an outdoor exploration of our trails. Our 15:1 student to educator ratio ensures every child has a positive experience.
