We have a team of experienced JBF Moms who will price, tag and drop off your items. All you need to do is deliver your clean, seasonally appropriate items to one of our taggers after you qualify. They will work with you to establish pricing for your items and you sit back and wait for your consignment check!
QUALIFY:In order to qualify, you must answer YES to at least 2 questions below:-Do you have at least 100 items?-Are 80% of your items name brand? (Less than 20% of your items are from Target/Walmart.)-If Valet Tagging were not an option, would it be impossible for you to participate in the next JBF sale event?
PRICING:Our taggers will work to price your items competitively. However, there may be some items that you just want to get a specific price for. If that is the case then all you have to do is let the tagger know before they pick up the items.
OPTIONS: You have THREE options on Pricing. Think about these options. You will select the option on the Tagging form. You will not be able to change the taggers pricing.
My priority when pricing is to:
1. Price to sell, BUT ALSO to earn as much money as possible 2. Price as low as possible, I don’t care how much money I make. I just want to get rid of the items. 3. All of the above: there are certain items I’ve noted that I want priced a certain way, otherwise use your discretion.
FEES:Consignors who participate in the Valet Tagging program earn 40% of their sale price minus a $15 fee. We do require that items are dropped off with hangers, however if you do not have hangers you can opt to be charged $.10 per hanger fee to cover the cost of hangers and .10 hang up fee for time it costs the tagger to hang the items. *Fees are subject to change
BATTERIES:Please make sure your items have working batteries with them. You may provide batteries at drop off or pay a $.50 fee for each battery needed.
STAINS:After the first 10 stained/damaged items, there will also be a .25 cent charge for each item brought with stains or defects. Please make sure you drop off your best items to the tagger and look for stains/damages a head of time. Unacceptable items will be donated to one of our charities.
DONATIONS:Items will most likely be Donated after each sale or season. Donations are made at the discretion of the tagger. If items are not donated they could be re-priced and if they are sold you will receive residual checks. Your items will not be returned to you at anytime. there is no exception to this rule.
50% OFF and 75% OFF ReductionThe second day of our sale is the 50% off sale, as a VIP consignor you MUST participate in reducing your items down to 50% off. This means that the second day your items if sold, would be 50% off. VIP Consignors items may also be sold at 75% off during the 75% off sale at the last hour of each sale. In our experience, consignors that mark their items to be reduced, make larger checks at the end of the sale.
VIP POWER CONSIGNOR FEES: Power consignors are defined by the amount of items they drop off. If you drop off 300 items or more or 30 or more larger items you may incur these additional fees. * Initial consignor fee of $15 consignor fee for 0-300 items then a $15 consignor fee for every 200 additional items* Storage and transportation fees- VIP Consignors who have over 300 items are subject to storage and transportation fees in proportion to the number of items they drop off. * Supply fees- You may provide zip loc bags, zip ties, hangers, saftey pins to your tagger. If you would like the tagger to provide these supplies the cost is as follows per each item $0.10 for hangers, $0.10 hang up, $0.10 zip loc bag, $8.00 for every 200 saftey pins, $5.00 for 100 zip ties..
PRESALE PASS:All Valet Tagging Consignors will be given a presale pass to enter during the Consignor's presale before we open to the public.
These three steps will ensure that you most out of your VIP consignor check:1. Make sure your items are clean, have all pieces and are free from pet hair, stains and odors and within the season.2. Keep the outfits together3. Hang up the clothes or at minimum give the tagger hangers to off set the supply cost. 4. Toys and non-clothing items must be in working order. Check this before you do your drop off to avoid the .25 stain/defect fee.
