The Dissertation Success Support Program is a semester-long program that provides community and writing support for students currently writing dissertations. We use a curriculum developed by the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) that offers skills and strategies for developing a writing routine, overcoming challenges that keep you from writing, and achieving what you want to achieve with your writing. In addition to optional online training modules, students in this program will receive peer support during weekly meetings and can request individual writing support. The time commitment for the program includes a weekly hour-long meeting, optional individual writing consultations, and optional time for videos and activities from the NCFDD curriculum.
Weekly meetings will begin the week of January 29. Meeting times and modalities are listed below. On the form, please indicate your preferred time (or any alternative times you would prefer).
All participants will also be welcome to join a hybrid write-together session on Mondays from 10am-12pm as well as the Graduate School Writing Center's open virtual Write-In on Fridays from 9am-11am. To apply, please fill out this form. Please direct questions to Dr. Macri (
