Remember the election in November, where the city voted on a ballot proposal to create a new Civic Engagement Commission? Wondering what's happening with that and citywide participatory budgeting?
Join the Participatory Budgeting Project and Council District 9 for a workshop to learn about the new Commission, its Citywide Participatory Budgeting initiative, and what it might mean for us. We'll also generate ideas for how the Commission can -- and should! -- strengthen engagement and leave with opportunities to get more involved.
