Those who are interested in proposing a symposium for the next meeting should send a proposal to EWCN no later than the Sunday first day of the the next workshop via this form. Proposals will be circulated to the Steering Committee. A proposal should indicate the title of the symposium, its motivation and description, the name of the organizer and a list of three speakers (not from the same institution) and , if needed, the name of a discussant. All indicated speakers should have already agreed to participate (see below).
All symposia should have no more than 4 participants including the proposer. In all cases there should be 3 main speakers. The role of a discussant, running the final general discussion, could be taken by any of the four participants.
By all means, please avoid proposing speakers from the same lab. When drafting your proposal, please consider, if possible, a gender balance among speakers and discussants.
