Petition to Build a Playground in the Cedars!

In May 2023, my almost 2-year-old daughter, Aveline “Avy” Hill was tragically killed in a car crash. Avy was a vibrant, sunshine soul who loved to play, explore, and be outside. In her memory, we started a nonprofit Avy’s Sunshine Tribe to work towards building a needed playground in the Cedars in her honor - a space where her spirit can live on, bringing joy and connection to families for years to come. This playground would not only honor Avy’s memory but also address our Cedars community's need for a central, family-friendly space.

Our community deserves a safe, engaging, and welcoming place to play, grow, and connect. However, the Cedars currently lacks an outdoor public playground in the neighborhood. A well-designed playground/park is more than just a play area—it’s a dynamic community hub for families, fostering physical activity, creativity, and connection among neighbors.

We are calling on the community to support the development of a much-needed playground for our community. By signing this petition, you are showing your support for:
