This is a job training program open to Rhode Island residents who have been negatively affected by Covid-19 and are looking to get back into the workforce.
This training meets in person, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and time will be split between our office in Peace Dale and a restaurant partner in Narragansett, RI.
During the first three weeks, participants work on their culinary and customer service skills, and earn the following ServSafe Certifications: Allergens, Alcohol, and Kitchen Manager. During the fourth week, participants will complete an internship at a locally partnered employer to demonstrate the skills learned and to gain experience in the industry.
