MakerDate 2023 Volunteer Sign Up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at MakerDate 2023! We appreciate your support of Assemble and look forward to having you on board to make MakerDate a great success! 

We have a variety of tasks for our volunteers to help with, but the most important responsibility of a volunteer is to make sure guests are having a great time. To ensure this, we ask that you:

  1. Arrive early for your shift: Take the time to orient yourself in the space, use the bathroom, get some food, and meet the person whose role you’re taking over. 

  2. Be courteous: You may not have an answer for every question guests may ask you, so just be patient and kind and seek out help if you need it. 

  3. Respect the space, yourself, and others: This is always the community agreement within Assemble, and it applies at MakerDate too. Please clean up after yourself, take a break if you need one, and help others.
