The "Connecting Producers to Consumers" website is a direct marketing tool that will feature listings of farms, ranchers and local food producers in the North Cariboo Region.  The site will also include some spatial data (maps) and enhanced features showcasing local producers through the use of photography, stories, and videography.  Non-Profit organisations involved with agriculture and /or food security are  invited to participate by being listed on the site.  The site will also provide information on other agriculture related services and products.  This website is a new initiative being created by the North Cariboo Agricultural Marketing Association (FARMED) to showcase local farms and food producers, creating a stronger connection between consumers and producers and promote a vibrant local food culture and economy.  The website is being developed following the publication of the very popular North Cariboo Farm Fresh Product Guide (v3) that was printed in February with 2500 copies being circulated.  

Eligibility for Non-Profit Organisations:

- Non-Profits serving residents of the North Cariboo / City of Quesnel

- Non-Profits must have a mandate focused on agriculture, food production, food security and /or food sovereignty

- Non-Profits can be registered (incorporated under the BC Societies Act) or not
