The BCC - Show Submission
Hello and thank you for submitting your show to us! We are currently programming comedy shows as part of the Brooklyn Comedy Collective's ongoing residency at The Brick Theater in Williamsburg on Wednesday-Sunday nights.

BCC strives to foster and promote the Brooklyn comedy community by creating a welcome space for artistic experimentation. We aim to produce shows that demonstrate a strong point of view or sense of self. We believe in supporting and rewarding artistic producers, most notably through our policy that Producers at BCC earn a significant percentage of the box office (40% of box office after the first $55 in ticket sales). These profits will be paid to the show Producer within two weeks of the performance date, who can then share the proceeds with the rest of the cast.

There are our available slots at the Brick theater with ticket prices:

-Wed @ 9:30 slots: $7 Ticket Price
-Thurs @ 9:30 $7 Ticket Price - currently only programming Improv at this time.
-Thurs @ 10:30: $5 Ticket Price - this is currently booked for our weekly sketch show TV Dinner.
-Friday @ 9:30: $10 Ticket Price
-Friday @ 11:00: $7 Ticket Price
-Saturday @ 9:30: $10 Ticket Price
-Saturday @ 11:00: $7 Ticket Price
-Sundays @ 7:00 PM: $10 Ticket Price
-Sundays @ 8:30 PM: $10 Ticket Price
-We have occasional 7:30/8 PM show slots on Wed-Sat, depending on The Brick's own programming schedule and when we can add in shows.

There are unlimited comp tickets for industry, and 5 comps for the cast to use per show. Students enrolled in six-week core classes at The BCC get into all shows free on a standby basis.

Slots are 60 minutes each, and all shows must run under a max of 75 minutes. BCC provides a tech/board-op and a house manager to run box office and host your show. The Brick provides online ticketing and operates a bar during shows. Any additional costs for your show (including musical accompanists or outside tech time/use of the space) must be paid the producer of each show. Sets must be minimal in design. Prop storage is a possibility on a case-by-basis and approval from The Brick.

We welcome a variety of show submission, including but not limited to:
-One-Act Plays
-Sketch Revues
-Improv/Musical Improv
-Variety Shows
-Solo Shows
-Stand-up/Storytelling

All submission are reviewed by our team: Annie Donley (Programming Director), Philip Markle (Artistic Director), Joey Dundale (Marketing Director), and our House Managers. It may take us four weeks or more to get back to you, but we do get back to everyone who submits to us. We prioritize submissions from people we know in the BCC community - such as students in our classes or performers in existing shows - when reading submissions, though anyone is welcome to submit to us!

Any questions before or after your submit? Please reach out to annie@brooklyncc.com

The Brick seats 70 people and can be set-up to meet most technical needs, including projections and audio. Check out the space at http://www.bricktheater.com
